Create your Photon Sports Account
To start tracking your athletes, you will need a Photon Sports Account. Look out for an invitation email that will guide you through the process of setting up your account. If you can’t locate the email, please look in your spam folder or reach out to us.
Set up the system
With your account set up, it’s time to put the pieces together. This procedure will take you about a minute, especially after you’ve done it a few times. We’ve prepared a short and helpful instructional video on how to set up the system. Vests and bands are located under the tablet and charger.
Log in to the Windows tablet
The tablet will be your interface while testing, and it will store your test data until connected to Wi-Fi. Power up the tablet and use the Tablet Password that came with your unit. Store your Tablet Password safely. Note that this password is different from the one you’ve chosen for your Photon Sports Account.
Access the Photon Sports Capture App
When starting the Photon Sports Capture App for the first time from the tablet’s start page, ensure you’re connected to a Wi-Fi. If there are any updates to be completed, press the “Finish Updating” button. Once the application is launched, click the “Sync Now” button at the bottom of the page to synchronize your username and password. With everything synced up, you can now log in with your Photon Sports Account created in step 1.
Add players and teams to the system
Start adding your teams and players to the system, using a computer and the Photon Sports Web App available at app.photonsports.se. Log in with your Photon Sports Account created in step 1. We’ve attached a handy PDF guide on how to add teams and players.
Begin Testing
With players and teams set up, it’s time to hit the field and put the system to the test. Check out our instructional videos here or access them directly within the Photon Sports Capture App on the tablet, under the “info button” on each test page.
Measure Distance – Set up a Test
Within the tablet app there’s a function to measure distance, using the camera. It shows the distance from the system and how much you deviate from the center line to help you place the cones in the right place, what ever test you’re preparing.
Analyze Your Data
Once you’ve completed your tests and gathered data, your information will effortlessly synchronize with the cloud when your device is connected to Wi-Fi. In case you encounter any issues with data accessibility, simply log in to the Photon Sports Capture App on your tablet and initiate the synchronization by pressing the “Sync Now” button.
To delve into your analytics, log in to the Photon Sports Web App at app.photonsports.se on a computer using your Photon Sports Account.
