Photon Sports is pleased to announce the appointment of Markus Skagbrant as Business Development Manager. In this role, Markus will leverage his sport science background and extensive business development experience within the sport technology sector to accelerate Photon’s expansion into Southern Europe and Latin America. He will play a key role in driving strategic growth and expanding Photon’s presence in those regions.
Markus brings a unique mix of industry, business and international experience to the organization. After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Science & Football from Liverpool John Moores University, Markus gained hands-on experience as a Sport Scientist with both Liverpool FC Women and Górnik Zabrze Men’s Team. He later transitioned into several commercial positions at various renowned sport tech companies including Catapult Sports, Movella, and INSCYD. Based in San Sebastián, Spain, Markus combines fluency in four languages and the experience of living across nine countries, to bring a strong international outlook.
