Since the beginning of the year, BK Häcken, the reigning Swedish champions in men’s football, has been using Photon Sports’ unique system that helps players continuously measure their abilities. With 3D cameras and advanced sensor technology, the system measures speed, reaction time, and explosiveness, providing athletes with a basis for improvement.
“I’m really impressed with BK Häcken. They’re building something really unique and have both the right attitude and now the right tools to take the next step in player development. This collaboration is a proof that Photon Sports is truly a tool for bringing out the next generation of physical testing,” says Michael Almebäck.
Photon Sports has achieved great success with its unique system. To date, the system is used by all teams in the Swedish women’s league and several men’s clubs, including Djurgårdens IF and IFK Norrköping. In addition, there is great interest among European top clubs, with Belgian KRC Genk and Tromsø Idrettslag among those using Photon Sports today.
