Level Up with SPC Charts
Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts were invented by Walter Shewhart at Bell Labs in the 1920s, to assist engineers in minimising variations in manufacturing processes. These charts have been used in manufacturing, business, and healthcare ever since, serving as a reliable tool to identify significant changes statistically. We’re now introducing this tool to sports performance.
Using SPC Charts for tracking players’ performance allows for precise monitoring of their progress and detection of trend shifts in their development. It also helps to distinguish normal performance variations from significant outliers, critical for tailoring training protocols and optimising each athlete’s potential.
“At Photon Sports, we are constantly striving to meet the evolving needs of our customers. As thousands of tests are performed with our system weekly across the world, we’re now taking the next step in presenting this data in a statistically proven manner.” says Tobias Norrfors, CPO, Photon Sports.
Chat Integration in the Web App
To enhance our customer experience, and to get even closer to the practitioners this release also includes a new chat widget implemented directly into our web app. This ensures that our team is just one click away.
Look for the small chat bubble at the bottom right corner of your screen to quickly start a conversation with us. Whether you have questions, need support, or just want to share feedback, we’re here to listen and assist.
