We’re excited to announce that we have extended our partnership with Elitfotboll Dam (the association of women’s elite football in Sweden) for another three years, giving the Swedish women’s first league, OBOS Damallsvenskan, the possibilities to continue developing their teams and players with our 3D technology.
“This extended partnership provides us with access to new actionable insights and tools that can contribute to making women’s football even more successful and competitive. The collaboration aligns well with our sustainability efforts, where together we can contribute to further research in women’s elite football,” says Ida Hellström, Partner Manager at Elitfotboll Dam.
In total, over 8,500 tests were conducted during the last season, a remarkably high number at the league level, and a successful pilot study was released involving Helena Andersson and Dan Fransson. This is one of the reasons why the collaboration has now been extended in a three-year agreement, where Photon Sports hopes that more people can benefit from and gain insights from this unique tool.
“We are very glad to continue working with Elitfotboll Dam and together, both learn from and contribute to the development of women’s football in Sweden. Our hope is that we can now expand the usage and include development teams in our work throughout the season. The intention is also to start working with clubs in Elitettan next year,” says Anders Tånger, CEO of Photon Sports.
